At the recent Board meeting held in Dallas the Board of Directors, with the blessing of Dave Nelson, Barb Nelson's husband, voted unanimously to rename the NFMA Scholarship in memory of past President Barbara Nelson to the "Barb Nelson Memorial Scholarship". By renaming the Scholarship in honor of Barb the Board felt that it would in a small way recognize all of her hard work and dedication she had to the NFMA. In addition that Barb's memory would live on for years in each student who receives a scholarship.
